Eyeliner is something that I've worn since I was 15 years old, that is nearly 15 years of wearing eyeliner, can you imagine how many I've tried and used over the years? My mind is about to blow just thinking of how many eyeliners I've been through over the years, it would be close to 100 eyeliners!
Over those years I've had many horrible eyeliners, if I don't like it I will use it a few times before either binning it or giving it to my sister, this happens with allot of beauty items, isn't she a lucky gal!
Well trying not to go too far off topic my husband brought me a YSL gift box for Christmas and it had one of their long lasting eyeliners in a travel size. It has the same packaging in the display photo without the smudgier on the opposite end.
Now before you go crazy over the price tag for just an eyeliner, I will tell you why this will be the best eyeliner you will buy.
The pencil is the blackest of black eyeliners, you see a regular eyeliner pencil and you times that by 10, it is that black! The formula glides on your eyes like butter, it is so smooth and so creamy, the creamiest eyeliner I have EVER used, and believe I have used alot in my time! But the best part of all? The stay power is out of this world!! Once you've lined your eyes with this eyeliner and you let it set for a few seconds it wont budge, and its waterproof, I get oily eyelids in the summer and this does not faze my oily eye lids.
After using this eyeliner for over a month, I have to say this is the best eyeliner I have ever used in my eyeliner history, and yes I will be buying this again!
I received this as a present and it took me a while to use it because it's a pencil and I'm not a fan of pencil eyeliners but this, it's different, it's really good! I found the application to be very smooth, I wasn't prepared for it and got a bit carried away the first time I put it on and ended up smudging myself a fantastic smokey-eyed look that lasted throughout a fun night of dancing. It was pretty easy to clean off at the end of the night too. I love that it didn't cake and irritate my eyes like some eyeliners tend to with me.
