Emily was very impressed with the products provided. The facial routine was easy and quick to complete and the result's were starting to show with in 4 days. Her skin has dramatically improved over the 2 weeks and the only break out we encountered was after a weekend with friends and junk food. I felt more comfortable with Emily using this type of product as apposed to harsher chemical products due to her skin being so young and delicate still. Emily has taken the routine in her stride and would highly recommend to any mother looking at a product for her young child dealing with skin breakouts.

Tips: Ensure the diet is appropriate, products of any kind will struggle to get results if the diet is full of junk food.
This was a wonderful trial team opportunity. The face wash , toner and moisturiser are well packaged and practical for use. I enjoyed the pump bottle of the facial wash and the easy spray of the toner. The products all smell divine which is definitely an added bonus for me. If definitely is luxurious to use and leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh and supple , although I am currently dealing with a post delivery peeling skin which this regime doesn't seem to make a difference to. The foamy face wash is a great idea and worked really well. The toner was very effective in keeping my skin feeling fresh and hydrated on the go. The sunscreen in the moisturiser was a big win for me. All in all this is a good and cost effective skin care routine that I would love to come back to in the future.
I was pretty stoked when I was picked for this trial and just could not wait for the products to arrive - I was out my skin with excitement when opening the package that arrived just before xmas - the other ladies in the office looked very jealous.
Short lived was my excitement after I opened and started to use the products. Not only did I find the packaging lacking in the way it should use but I thought that the products were not up to scratch to meet my excitement
The face wash is pretty liquidy and I had to use quite a lot of the product to wash my face and neck. It did not remove makeup and after trying to tone my skin I ended up with cotton pads full of left over make up.
The toner uses a spray top that had my wipe up product from my dresser - in the end I decided to unscrew the top to not use so much. It did not really refresh my skin as my normal toner - but I am hoping that it did do the job. The toner was probably my favorite out of the 3.
I did not like the thick white moisturiser that reminded my off the late 80 - 90s sunscreen that caked onto your skin. It was think and did not absorb well. All 3 products have more or less the same smell - which I think had to imitate honey/citrus - to me it just smelled very cosmetic.
I would rather not recommend these to friends or family. Pretty expensive for very small quantities
Tips: Face wash - you will need 2 pumps Toner - unscrew the bottle rather than using the spray mechanism Moisturiser - rather use after sun exposure or maybe a night cream.
While these products were overall pretty good, I'm not sure if I would use them and only them for my skincare regime. I like to mix things up and I'm not sure if I would be content using just these products everyday. Perhaps if the cleanser was a cream cleanser rather than a foam cleanser and there was a night time moisturiser in the regime I would see it as more of a complete regime.
These products do however work well together and if you like the strong-ish scent (which I think would put some people off), I'd say go ahead and try them!
Positives are it is reasonably priced, made in New Zealand and honey is obviously incredibly good for skin.
Tips: If you have dry skin like me, maybe tone once a day but cleanse every two days.
my Skin typ is combination and in summer it’s more in the oily side. I found this regime just did not do anything for my skin type. The whole regime smelt lovely but it just didn’t do what I want skin care to do. The foaming cleanser I felt didn’t take of all the dirt off my skin, the toner was good but I had to use about 3 cotton rounds just to remove any excess oils and dirt from my skin but that’s because the face wash wasn’t that good and the sun screen was too heavy for me. Although, it didn’t break me out which is a positive. Overall, I feel like this regime is best suited for someone with normal to dry skin. Ill go into more detail in my reviews on the individual products if you want to check them out.
The Manuka Honey skin care regime is overall not a bad regime however there are definitely some products that are way better than others. After using these products for a few weeks, I have noticed that I don't have as much redness anymore so it definitely does help.
My top pick would definitely be the toner, its gentle on the skin but it also gives a very thorough clean and leaves the skin refreshed and smooth.
The moisturiser did a good job at keeping my skin hydrated throughout the day however it did have a strong scent and I found it quite heavy and greasy when initially applied.
The facial wash helped remove any excess makeup on my skin however there was nothing remarkable about it and there are definitely a lot of other face washes that will do the same thing.
Overall this skin care regime could definitely me worth a try because it may benefit people with different skin types however it was not the ideal skin care for me.
I'm going to try not repeat myself so here it goes: I started this trial sort of introducing each product one by one, just in case my skin reacted badly and I could easily pinpoint the culprit.
The first product I used was the moisturiser with SPF 30. Now I've not had the greatest history with SPF even though I know it's so important to use it especially in terms of sun damage and ageing, but the skin on my face does not seem to like it. I had hoped that this case would be different, but alas it was not so I had to discontinue use after the first day due to the horrible reaction of me breaking out in rough red random patches.
Next product I incorporated into my usual skincare routine was the toner. I was a little apprehensive about changing up my toner, but I was so glad I did! It blended seamlessly into my routine like it had been there all along. I could even say it did better than the toners I was using before which was surprising but hugely welcomed. My essence, serum, and moisturiser all sunk in so well after my toner. I also feel like it has helped diminish my redness and healed other spots on my face which I am ecstatic about. I cannot praise this product enough!
Last but not the least, I used the gentle cleanser. I believe it's your run of the mill foaming cleanser that does a decent job, but isn't miraculous. I'd say if you needed one for travel, you can take this with you and if you end up forgetting it at a motel it's not a great loss. It does leave your face a little rubbery, but not overwhelmingly so.
In conclusion, out of all 3 products, I would suggest to invest in the toner. Not only is it convenient to use (spray then walk away!! Joking, but you know what I mean), but it actually does what it claims to do. All the stars for the toner.
I found this range did the job, left my skin looking and feeling nice, and didn't have any MAJOR drawbacks - but it wasn't a joy to use and had a couple of small niggles that would probably keep me from repurchasing most, if not all, of the range.
The main thing that I will say for the range is that it seems to be incredibly soothing - I have a lot of red pigmentation on my face despite mostly being a yellow toned girl, so I usually use a light covering of concealer on lots of my face to even out the redness. While using this range, I found that the redness was reduced enough that I used about 1/3 less concealer compared to normal, so that was a definite bonus.
On the downsides, I really hate using scented products on my face and I found the scent of them very powerful and cloying, especially the face wash. The range was also very sticky, so not very pleasant to use. The first time I put them on I was so put off by the stickiness that I considered washing it all off and chucking them in the bin! Fortunately, given a couple of minutes they do settle into the skin nicely and the stickiness doesn't remain at all.
The packaging on the face wash was particularly nice (I had a different one to the cleanser that's pictured) - I wish the other two had more similar, minimalist looks but they were a bit more functional and sturdy instead, particularly the moisturiser.
The moisturiser was quite thick and smeary, but it did smooth into the skin nicely and is the product I'm most likely to rebuy, as I think it did most of the grunt work with reducing the redness and had the least overpowering scent. However, I actually DON'T recommend using the moisturiser and toner together - the toner seemed to make the moisturiser almost impossible to smooth into my skin, it would just smear and streak everywhere instead. Patting it into the skin worked, but it just made the job so finnicky I didn't feel like the toner was worthwhile.
Overall, I will continue using the moisturiser and I miiiiight consider repurchasing it if my skin is noticeably more red, but I certainly won't be using the face wash or toner.
Tips: If you do use the toner and then the moisturiser and have trouble massaging it into your skin, try patting it in instead.
Either the cleanser or the toner did leak a bit when travelling, so definitely wrap them in a plastic bag before packing them for a trip!
This range was a mixed bag for me! I didn't enjoy the facial wash, I LOVED the toner and the moisturizer was pretty good (especially the SPF) but it was a bit heavy for me.
I thought the packaging over all was elegant and attractive and very functional. I really appreciated the products all being easy to travel with. I have no complaints about the packaging, it is good quality.
I came and went on the scent, I don't like orange a huge amount and it is quite strong in the facial wash. The toner had a nice refreshing scent and the moisturiser is subtle.
Overall I felt the range would suit a lot of people, with a gentle wash, refreshing toner and heavier moisturizer - it is a great summer range and good for sensitive skin.
Personally I like a cleanser with a bit more omfph and a lighter day moisturiser. But I cannot rave about the toner enough - it rivals micellar water for me.
Absolutely worth trying the range and it is a great price!
Tips: Be sure to follow up the wash with the toner each time!
These were great products to try out. The routine was easy. My skin did have a little breakout the first couple of days as it adjusted to this regime but overtime they went away and no others appeared. Although they weren't the best for my skin type, the toner really stood out to me. Unlike other toners that leave your face feeling overly tight or sticky this one absorbed quickly and my skin felt tight yet soft! Will say this regime did make my skin feel relatively nice because I was committed but at the end of the day the shine that the moisturiser left was too much despite using so little each time. As mentioned in the two other reviews I'm definitely keen to hold on to these products and see how well it works during the cool, dry months because I feel that it would work wonders. Cost wise, it a little more than most that you'd buy in a supermarket but a good investment if you're in need of some rejuvenation, a glow and it has great other benefits due to the honey component!
Tips: You can spray the toner directly on your face and it still feels amazing. No cotton pad needed.
