If you like a bit of luxury when it comes to your makeup, this is a nice little product but you can definitely find cheaper alternatives, such as Mac, Maybelline etc.

However the product is good, it goes have a soapy taste. Not too strong just something to mention.

Nice rich colours, not every long lasting though as it doesn't dry down

This YSL doesn’t disappoint. It’s just a luxurious product! I can’t get enough of YSL lipsticks, just pure glamour.

The packaging is so lovely and stylish. Gold teamed with black. It stands out and is the perfect lippie to pop in your handbag on a night out.

The wand makes application easy to apply this lipstick. The formula is glossy and moisturizing for your lips. My colour is a lovely deep pink, classic for a night out.

My lips are on the dry side but this gloss is hydrating and feels so nice on my sensitive lips.

A five star from me - such a beautiful lipstick.

This is a pretty package with a cute size. packaging: comes in a square glass tube in a hard casing the top is gold in colour with the YSL monogram, this is the lid & the applicator & the bottom is black with a see thru part to view the inside product. Pretty classy chique and cute. The Contents: A lacquer cream that has a sheen to it not thick but not thin easy to spread ,not sticky. Application/effects: A doe foot applicator that's unique, in a sense that's it's almost diamond in shape that's opened as in a space in the centre that's nothing. Also is bent inward for this it's unique and I've not seen anything like it. Sits easily into the lips when applying. Upon application it smooths onto lips easily, not sticky,tacky and almost a lacquer texture that glides but adheres with a stain left behind when it wears off. Quite different to any other glosses. Almost like a tint to the lips. A very different gloss, I have no#5. A natural red stain.

This is my first YSL lip product. Not a pro, and don't really splurge a lot on makeup, but this time, it's totally worth it! Amazing color, though little range of selection, and amazing staying power! Also, geez it stays on tight on my lips. It saves me from embarrassment of leaving lipstains on wine classes at functions, also my partner realized that so he feels really comfortable giving me a kiss on the lips when I'm wearing this. I like the applicator too, the very pointy tip made it easier to line out the lip, and the fat flat part makes it quicker to apply too.

Being a massive fan of the YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks I impulse bought 3 of these last time I was in Smith and Caugheys. The colour range is beautiful so I took a long time deliberating which shades to pick but ended up with 7, 14 and 17.

The texture is very watery, not at all the sticky usual texture of lipgloss I was expecting. The colour lasts a long time, after the gloss wears off you're left with a lovely coloured stain. However, when topping up I suggest wiping your lips completely off and reapply the gloss otherwise the product starts going gloopy and bitty.

I don't think I will be purchasing any more of these Glossy Stains, I'd much prefer to spend the extra $10 and buy the Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks.

I purchased this Rouge Pur Couture lip stain on the recommendation of the sales assistant, and I must admit it was so worth the price. It is a long lasting stain, that isn't drying like some of the long lasting lipsticks, and has a lovely shiny gloss as a finish. I bought a hot pink one, and it is one of the only lip products that I actually used up the whole thing before I got sick of the colour or it went off. The packaging is so pretty and inviting to use, as are all the YSL products. I only wish it didn't have a price tag to match, because I would like to own them all!

I currently have one of these glossy lip stains and have mega plans to purchase them alllll!

I really really love the one I own and have been wearing it alot lately. I have shade 15 which is a beautiful pink colour.

I cannot believe how these stay on your lips! It amazes me how long the glossy shine actually lasts - even through eating and drinking. The colour stays on forever, even once a bit of the shine has worn off.

I find this really comfortable to wear as well, it is light on the lips and while it does have a very slight tackiness, it is not overly sticky and annoying.

The packaging is to die for, so luxurious and pretty. I also love the applicator, it is the perfect shape for applying the product evenly all over the lips.

This is definitely a pricey purchase, but I really think it is worth it. As I already said, I wear the one I have all the time so to me it is totally justified! :p

This is one of my first ever high end brand lip gloss I brought myself and from today I don't regret purchasing this item at all. I got a shade nude :) it looks amazing. The packaging does make it feel special & it has a lovely scent as well. I would definitely invest my money on this product again even though it is pricey but amazing lip gloss.

I adore this product. It goes on like a dream, and stays on for hours. I love the packaging, square and fabulous. It doesn't roll around in my makeup drawer. Rather expensive at $55 but I have not found any other product that matches it's performance. Great colour choice available. YSL always looks like quality and luxury. The only downside is getting my hands on it as I live in a provincial centre and it is not sold nearby.
