This is another great Trilogy product. I've used quite a few of them now and I'm rarely disappointed.
I have very dry skin, so I like a very thick and heavy cream. This is just right in consistency for me and I find its intense moisture lasts all day, in spite of problem skin. I can also use this straight after shaving without any irritation, which is a huge plus for me.
It is very thick, but the upside down squeezy tube is the perfect way to dispense it. I loathe it when products are hard to get out of their packages, especially when you're getting closer to the end of it.
The scent is pretty typical of most other Trilogy products, but with a hint of lavender. The fragrance is pretty low-key though and doesn't compete with my perfume.
The only thing I'm not wild about is the visible shimmery finish. Admittedly the packaging explicitly states that it's shimmery, but I didn't read the box very thoroughly before I purchased it. For that reason, I probably won't use this in the warmer months when I have more skin on show. I will definitely buy it for winter again when I need the intense moisture the most. I love the way this product feels, but not how it looks. I'd love it if there was a version of this without the sparkles.
I use this during winter as my skin gets quite dry and this product does its job well and keeps my skin moisturised for the whole day. The texture is thick and creamy, good for protecting dry skin. The scent has a strong plant/herb smell which I don't really mind since I prefer this over perfumes. However, the shimmer of the cream is quite annoying as I feel that it's unnecessary and I end up getting it all over my face while putting on make-up :(
