This Trilogy exfoliator does everything it said it would. You can feel the exfoliant spheres working against your skin, yet it's gentle. I love how it leaves my skin feeling smooth, soft & clean. A little goes a long way, but if I over-squirt I use the excess on my decolletage or upper arms.

Tips: Use in the shower a couple of times a week
I have recently just discovered this facial exfoliant and I am in love! I had never tried the trilogy range before but now I want more. I have sentsitive skin so it’s hard to find something that will do the job and not cause my skin to go crazy. But the gentle exfoliant leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth afterwards.
I use it about 2-3 times a week in the shower. I don’t use a lot , a small amount goes a long way!
Tips: Dampen your face first and put a bit of water on your hands to make it spread a lot more.
I have found a new favorite facial exfoliant! There really isn't anything about this product that I don't love. I haven't tried lots of the Trilogy range but everything that I have tried has been amazing.
The packaging is simple and the instructions easy to follow. It smells amazing, not overly earthy like some other natural skin care products I have tried but still a nice natural smell.
I use this exfoliant about twice a week and just a small quantity is needed. I focus on the areas that need it more and it spreads very well. After using it my skin feels fresh and much smoother than before.
This is a little treat for your skin and worth every cent. I would recommend it to anyone wanting smoother skin!
Tips: Dampen hands and face before applying the product.
I decided to purchase this after receiving the Trilogy very gentle products to trial from BR and really liking the result they had on my sensitive skin. I have tried exfoliating products in the past that have made my skin red and sore so I tend to stay away from exfoliant because they are usually to harsh for my skin.
The 75ml tube is simple but easy to use as the product squeezes out easily. The exfoliant is reasonably thick in consistency so only a small amount is needed. The exfoliant contains jojoba micro-spheres which are the main exfoliating ingredient. They are very fine and dont scratch your skin. I found the scent very pleasant similar to Rosehip but without being overpowering.
To use I wet a few of my fingers and squeeze a pea size amount on. I then apply to my face using a circular motion. I tend to start around my nose and chin then work my way out to more sensitive areas like my cheeks.
I really like this scrub as it doesnt irriate my delicate cheek area. My skin always feels soft and smooth after each use and I find my other skincare products absorb into my skin better. I find this exfoliant gentle enough for at least weekly use.
I received this as a gift from BR (thanks guys!) - I have always loved Trilogy rosehip oil but the other products are too pricey for me so this was a great chance to try the exfoliator.
It is super gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. It is a bit of a weird consistency when using it - I found it almost dries out as you massage so you either have to use more or add more water as you go.
It is quite a thick consistency so when I reached the near end of it, I really struggled to get any out of the tube and I think a lot of the product was still in the base when I threw it away. But that is often the case with tube products.
Would I use it again? Possibly. It is a rather high price point for me, but it does last ages.
Tips: Use this in the evening followed by a generous smother of rosehip oil for gorgeous, glowing smooth skin!
Another Trilogy product I love. The product comes in a 75ml white tube with a flip top lid which is easy to use in the shower. Like most products you dont need a lot to get an excellent result. I do use mine in the shower as I find it is easier to rinse off, but you can still use it over a basin. I use a small amount on my wet face and in a circular motion gently exfoliate the dead skin away. After I have rinsed off my skin looks brighter and feels incredible. I will use this twice a week in the shower.
I enjoy using this scrub. I like the scent and do find it gentle as it's described on the packaging. I keep it in my shower and use it a couple of times a week. I have even used it on my legs when I ran out of body scrub (although it's too pricey to do that on a regular basis!). I've had it around a year and find I don't need to use much.
Tips: Use it in the shower when your face gets a steam as well!
I picked this up in a previous vault after seeing the great reviews. I love a good exfolliant and Trilogy has such nice products, I was excited to give it a try.
It comes packaged in a large white plastic squeeze tube, which is perfect for dispensing the small amount of product you need. I love how simple the packaging is, fitting well with Trilogy's more natural products and letting the product speak for itself.
It's a really creamy exfolliant, at first glance you'd assume it's a cream facial wash. It's off-white in colour and has a faint, unobtrusive natural scent of calendula. I apply a little bit of this with warm water and you get a slight bit of foaming which helps it disperse. The tiny exfolliating granules are very gentle and as you massage it into your skin you can feel it buffing away that dead skin. Afterwards my face feels soft and I love how if I use this at night, the following morning my skin looks clearer.
My only complaint? I balked when I saw the price tag and I personally couldn't justify spending that much on a facial scrub alone as there are many other scrubs that do a similar job out there for less. It is priced on par with my favourite scrub Oasis Tropical Smoothie, but that you can use as a mask which allows me to justify the expense to myself! I would however recommend it to others if they don't mind the expense as it is a really nice product.
Packet is basic and quite plain, and a very faint and I mean faint pale pink tube with a grey flip top lid, the product within is sealed behind a wee bit off foil. This exfoliant is slightly off white boarder line pale pink and has a soft waxy feel to it and loaded with lots of wee jojoba microspheres, so the exfoliation job the wee beads do is really good this is gentle yet effective, not harsh but does a really good job of removing dead skin cells gently. Fragrance is calendula (marigold) so a bitter sweet scent nearly a tiny bit minty. This I found to be very moisturising and if it didn't foam ever so slightly I would have thought I was using a cream. This rinses off nicely no wee beads left on my skin but I nearly feel like I have a very light film of wax left on my face, but a good rinse with a warm face cloth fixes that. So my skin is left glowing and smoother and softer, the more I use this the better my skin look. This is an awesome exfoliator.
I love Trilogy products, and this Gentle Facial Exfoliant is ticking all the boxes on first try. It comes in an easy open flip top tube, and is great to use in the shower. The jojoba microspheres work brilliantly to exfoliate, leaving my skin feeling fresh and energized.
A little goes a very long way, and it works best on dampened skin. With my sensitive skin, I use gentle circular movements on my cheeks, a slightly firmer movements on the rest of my face, which ensures I don't end up feeling over-exfoliated.
Tips: I like to use before washing my hair, so any exfoliant that's worked its way up into my hairline gets washed out. The added benefit is my hairline gets exfoliated too.
As it's a plastic tube, and with all soft tubes, I now cut the bottom off when I can't squeeze any more out, and find there's a lot of product left in the tube. This is a cost-saver in the long run.
