Exfoliating body

A great product, but I found it a bit oily for my skin. It exfoliates the skin well. And not too strong a smell either so it's great. It's a bit expensive for every day use.

AMAZING

This is a great scrub but is quite expensive and I have found equally good scrubs which are cheaper. This is not a super rough scrub on the skin and actually leaves the skin feeling moisturised. It does have a slightly misleading name, as its called a 'balm' when its actually a scrub I found this by accident at work when putting away stock.

Trilogy exfoliating balm

I LOVE this exfoliating balm!! When you unscrew the lid you get a whiff of this suttle smell which is oh scrumptious! The balm its self is quite solid bit I find if you leave the tub in the shower the moisture helps keep it nice and soft which makes it a lot easier to get out. The balm is a nice soft exfoliator, not too harsh on your skin and doesnt leave you feeling like you have just scrubbed the living daylight out of yourself. I love how once you have washed the balm off your skin is left nice and silky smooth and really hydrated.

I have been using this same exfolating balm for the past couple of years and I still have around 1/2 of a tub left. I find a little really does go a long way. I probably use half a teaspoon amount on each of my legs twice a week.

Trilogy Treat

I received a jar of Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm with one of my Best Beauty Box Ever purchases. I only opened this magical jar before Christmas :-)

I love the sturdy, water proof jar with easy to use twist lid. It fits perfectly on my shower shelf.

Once you unscrew the lid, you are faced with a solid mass of goodness that gives off a light rosehip fragrance. The Exfoliating Body Balm is very easy to scoop out and you only need a small amount (as I discovered lol). My skin is not dry and this product goes a long way.

You can see and feel the gentle, exfoliating rosehip seeds. You can also feel a light, mositurised barrier once you rinse this lovely product from your skin. I gently apply the Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm. My skin feels instantly softer and very mositurised. I have even used the Body Balm on my heels (I have what I call "Dad feet"). Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm does not feel coarse when applying.

I pat dry my skin after use, then apply moisturiser as I normally would. Even though I feel I probably don't need to moisturise. I am only using Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm 2 - 3 times per week. I feel as though I am doing something really kind for my skin.

If you are after a light, gentle exfoliation which leaves your skin feeling super soft and loved, then this is your product. A real treat!

And Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm is environment friendly as well.

Make sure you have a bit of time

I was keen to try this and it looked lovely when I opened it. The package suits the other trilogy products and I am a fan of the look. The smell was lovely and not too overpowering. I made the mistake of trying it during a quick shower first and realised it was going to take a bit longer to wash off than I expected so next time I took my time. I think it would be great during/after a long bath rather than a shower really. I liked the consistency which was pretty thick and gave good coverage. The result was very good - especially when I used it a couple of weeks in a row

Tips: Make sure you have a bit of time - not a quick product

Works Best For Buttne

Probably one of my best discovered products this year. I got this through one of the Best Beauty Box Ever lots, I can't remember which one. Gentle exfoliation and moisturising at the same time. Saves time as it does two things. I found this particularly works well on buttne. Used every second or third day it clears up fast and leaves that ideal soft bottom. It's actually the only thing I use it for now. For the price point I wouldn't be purchasing this again but I really do love this product.

Tips: Make sure to rinse well as the moisturising component of this product can leave excess residue.

Trilogy Exfoliating Body Balm

This lovely balm comes in a round brown thick plastic jar with 185mls of product in it. It is very stylish to look at and would fit in with most bathrooms.

The lid screws off and inside there is this lovely, rich moisturising balm.

It is infused with rosehip and sweet almond oils and there is a natural exfoliant. I scooped out some product and started rubbing it onto my arms and legs and it felt so good, not too course and with the oils, very moisturising. I found the oils to be so nourishing and the exfoliant gentle.

After using this in the shower I was left feeling soft and smooth. It has a very typical Trilogy fragrance which I find very pleasent and soothing.

I love Trilogy products as they are a New Zealand company, againts animal testing and you can recycle the packaging.

Tips: This is not the cheapest product on the market but if you use it once a week as a treat it will last a good long time.

Exfoliating Body balm

I was so excited to try this product it comes in A large twist top pottle with the same colour and labelling as the other trilogy products.

When you open the pottle it's pretty waxy and oil consistently. You can definitely smell the rosehip.

I found I had to scrub it quite a lot the get a good coverage and found some of the product didn't wash off all that easily which I find frustrating.

I found it did gently exfoliate but nothing I couldn't get from a pair of gloves and a body wash so a bit disappointed. Exfoliating body balms not for me.

its ok

Well this had me oohing and ahhing when I pulled it out of the ‘thanks for’ BBBE, I love body scrubs and exfoliants. I love my skin feeling super soft and silky smooth, what got me even more excited was when I read ‘balm’ on the label. ooooh I thought, does that mean I can also be lazy and get away with moisturiser too? I couldn’t wait to have a shower and try it out.

It comes in a big round plastic tub with 185ml of this exfoliating body balm. It’s solid inside the tub but easy to scoop out. I scooped out a small amount and started scrubbing it round my body. I did find I had to keep scooping more out so I probably use a couple of tablespoons at a time. The scent is mild rosehip, it’s not a favourite but it’s ok. You can see the small exfoliating particles which are ground up rosehip seeds (so not only good for your skin but also good for the environment too.) it does feel nice on my skin, it’s a very gentle scrub so for my dry skin it’s a bit too gentle. I notice the water beading off my skin so when I dry my skin I carefully pat it dry.

After I finish patting it dry, my skin looks and feels moisturised, it’s smooth and doesn’t leave any kind of oily or greasy residue. It’s a lovely product, however for the price of the tub it’s rather expensive so it really is a treat, it didn’t really buff away my dry patches which was what I was most excited about, but it does let me be a bit lazy and I don’t have to moisturise after my shower. Probably won't repurchase.
