The ultimate romance

I have had bronzers before, but none of them wowed me or made me giddy, or even put any color on my face without making me look like I was a pig in a wig rolling around in mud. Until this. I bought this off of Marleen in the Marketplace and I'm so, so, SO unbelievably happy I did.

She said she hadn't used it much and she wasn't kidding - it was in near perfect condition. It was also a lot bigger than I was expecting, the heart fits snugly in the palm of my hand with a bit of overhang. I don't know how to describe the color, it's just brown to me! With a little pink heart to the side, which you can use alone or use with the bronzer. My preferred option is to use them together, simply because I don't have a blush brush small enough to just get blush.

I swirl my brush around two to three times and tap it, before putting it on my face. It adds just enough color to stop me from looking like Casper but it doesn't add so much I look like Snooki circa Jersey Shore. The thing I love most is that it is buildable, but I've never wanted to add more onto my face. It blends out really nicely and I feel like it's the perfect kind of bronzer for my face.

Would I repurchase? Yes I would. Even though the price is ridiculous, as I don't wear it often it would last (and is lasting me) a very long time.

My beauty soul mate

From the moment my eyes met the exquisite heart-shaped packaging of Too Faced Soul Mates Blusher Bronzer I knew I had finally found my beauty soul mate. I LOVE bronzer and so the idea of make ups power couple combined in such an adorable, blend able manner had me swooning and I had to find a way to get my hands on one.

I have light to medium skintone and spent a lot of time deliberating over whether to go for Carrie and Big, or Ross and Rachel. The names of the bronzers are so darn cute! I ended up going for Ross and Rachel as I wanted a slightly deeper bronzed effect.

Both the bronzer and blusher like other Too Faced products are incredibly pigmented. The bronzer is a shimmering, warm brown that when applied with a light hand creates a beautiful sun kissed appearance that's never muddy. The blusher is very bold and not for the faint of heart, a vibrant hot pink that pairs perfectly with the bronze. You really do need to go easy on this as otherwise there's a big risk of overdoing it. Initially the much smaller size of the blusher to the largers bronze suprised me but its a good match as you really only need the smallest amount of product.

I've applied this a couple of ways - using a kabuki brush to sweep the bronzer across my face for a healthy, bronzed appearance; dusting the blush across my cheeks for a bright pop of colour, using the bronzer as a contour or swirling them both together as nature intended to create the perfect summery glow.

This is one of the prettiest products I own my go-to product when I'm rocking a tan. If you love a bronzed look, be sure to add this to your makeup collection.

Tips: This is easy to build up but harder to blend if you apply too much so start with a light application and work your way up.

I have found my new soul mate

Okay, when these were released, i kind of went a bit crazy. I mean the name alone almost sold me! So ofcourse.. i had to get one!

Firstly, too faced just does so well with their packaging and this is no exception. It comes in a box which had a gold foiled heart on it and they have made the package look romantic with a slight vintage theme to it. So cute. The packaging continues with this compact. It is classic black, and in the shape of a heart, with the words too faced embossed in silver metal. Sigh* it really is perfection.

When you open the compact.. speechless! Its so pretty. It features a heart shape mirror to fit into the compact shape and the blush and bronzer are also in heart shapes with the blush being a small heart, and the bronzer being a larger heart that surrounds the blush. So pretty and cute.

This product is great quality aswell. The bronzer is silky and is pigmented, but not so much that you ruin your makeup by over applying. Its warm toned, and does not look murky or orange against my skintone which is perfect.

The blush is also silky and is also pigmented, but not as pigmented as i was expecting, so i found it really easy to apply the perfect amount to give me cheeks a healthy glow.

I have to admit, this is a great compact for tanned skin girls, because i can tell you it work really well with my skin tone. I really think this is a must have.

I just love the concept and it looks so cute

When I first spotted these on Too Faced newsletter of new items, my eyes lit up and I knew I was getting me these. Originally I wanted the Big & Carrie one as it was better suited for fair skin tones but as I was limited by where I could buy it from I ended up with Ross & Rachel. Side note though, now that Sephora have opened their online doors to international cards I have just acquired the Big & Carrie one so *happy dance* that review will come once I have had time to play.

Anyway onto the product, first of all if you are a fan of Too Faced you already know that this beautiful creation is made with quality and love, from its adorable heart shape in shiny black plastic with its Too Faced logo emblazed on the top in gold font. To the scent once you open it up, huge dose of chocolate aroma coming straight at you. I was shocked when I first got it though as it is quite large, I had expected it to be smaller for some reason. Flip open the heart case, which by the way screams Polly Pocket for those of you who like me had that as a child. Inside you have a swirled pattern of bronzer and insert in the corner is a little pink blusher in the shape of a love heart. Its all very mushy really but I love it.

Like I mentioned the Ross & Rachel blushing bronzer is designed for the medium skin tone but being fair I thought it was going to be too harsh, which the bronzer actually is a little the cocoa brown of the bronzer is a warm tone but its not excessively pigmentated which means you go on light and easy to build up a good contour on your face. The little pink blush is quite sharp in contrast too, again on the warm side it is a little bit more heavy on the pigments so don't do like me on first application and splotch it on heavy handed as you will get overly blushed cheeks that aren't easily blended. But what I do love is when I grab a huge fluffy kabuki brush and swirl it into both the blush and bronzer and dust it as a blush on the cheeks and temples. Oh my its a wonderfully lifting glow that I have never seen in a bronzer before its perfect!! I can see why they were picked to be put together. As I mentioned these colours aren't the easiest to blend so the method is to go light and easy allow the colour to build up as once its on there it isn't going anywhere in a hurry. I do use a setting spray but this hasn't smudged or rubbed off at all and every time I use it, it makes me smile which all my Too Faced products do, they are just so freaking cute and smell amazing!!

Tips: Buy it!!!!!!!!!!!
