The Aromatherapy Co. Bath and Shower Gel Review

I was pretty surprised that I quite liked this smell as I tend to find rose smells a bit 'old lady' for me... did I just say that!? Sorry! Anyway I really like the shape of the tube. It was really stable and fitted in the shower nicely, which is actually really important otherwise things clanging about it the shower is a real pain! I also think the lid has a great catch on it so it satisfyingly snaps closed, which I've noticed quite a lot of lids like this do not and it drives me mad! Then the nozzle where you squeeze out the gel is quite fine so you only need to squeeze out a little bit at a time and this gel is so concentrated you hardly need any. I was pretty skeptical at first and thought I'd use it up in no time so that was a huge bonus. The gel smells great when you're using it and it leaves your skin feeling really lovely. I'd love to try some of the other fragranced gels in the range. LOVE it!

I was lucky to receive this as a gift. I love the fragrance - it's lightly sweet, fresh and a little musky. It's great and not overwhelming. It's a clear consistency and lathers well. You don't need much to go a long way and it cleans without leaving a strong scent. It also doesn't dry out my skin. It leaves me feeling fresh and my skin feels moisturised.

I think it's a beautiful product and I would definitely re-use but I wouldn't go out of my way to repurchase. It's definitely great as a gift or for a little extra pampering

I purchased this shower gel because it has one of my favourite scents, the Aromatherapy Co. Orange and Jasmine fragrance. This is SUCH a lovely fragrance, very feminine but also fresh and slightly musky too. I adore it in the diffuser set and so wanted it as a shower gel too. You get a generous amount with these shower gels which is great, especially seeing as the price isn't the most affordable. The gel comes out quite a bit thicker than other shower gels I've tried, but lathers up well using a loofah or sponge. It cleans the skin without over drying it in the slightest, and makes the bathroom smell lovely. I'd definitely recommend if you're after a pampering treat or as a nice gift for someone in your life.

I was given this by someone who knew I was trying to move away from artificially fragranced products and move into safer, more natural products. This definitely ticked all my boxes.

The packaging is simple, with no fuss. The product stands on its cap so it's easy to get it all out. The flip-top lid is sturdy and never threatened to break, even when I was carrying it around in my toilet bag.

The scent is lovely, but not overwhelming. I didn't notice it on my skin after the shower.

The shower gel itself is gentle and slightly moisturising. This made it suitable for my sensitive, dry skin. This felt like it was cleaning me without stripping my skin of natural oils.

All up this was an enjoyable body wash to use and I recommend it to anyone wanting a subtle, natural scent in the shower.
