Apply makeup like the pros with this soft touch, dual-ended sponge applicator which applies makeup immaculately for a smooth, streak-free finish.

What sets this ingenious sponge apart is that it’s double-ended, with a rounded tip on one end to apply makeup all over the face and neck.

My favorite makeup sponge!

These little bundles of magic are by far my favorite sponge. They last for at the very least 8 -12 months whilst looking new and fresh. They easily allow you to spread makeup on and press into skin without it feeling as though you're just using a piece of plastic to apply concealer/foundation with. Leaving a nice airbrushed finish.

Tips: I simply wash with hot soapy water or makeup brush cleaner, rinse until clear of any makeup residue then lastly air dry. I frequently leave the sponge in a sunny spot to dry and air it out to get rid of any dampness that the sponge could hold internally.

Disappointing

I'm really gutted about this, I love Stila, but the beauty blender didn't stack up.

I use beauty blenders 90% of the time with concealer (sometimes foundation or contour), so it doesn't get a heavy amount of use. However, it broke apart really quickly and I didn't like way it smelt when I first opened it and the colour of the blender bled a lot which I didn't like either—I won't be repurchasing one of these.

not convinced about this one

although it is fantastic value for money, I am not convinced that I need to use this product. The first couple of times using it, I was great with lovely coverage, but it was very hard to keep clean, and I seemed to go thru my foundation 10 times faster than with no sponge. I cant see the value if I am wasting product. it also tore after about 10 uses, (split right in 2), so Its a no from me.

Tips: If I ever get another sponge, I found a great way of cleaning them: First, you have to mix mild soap and water in a microwave-safe cup, fully submerge the sponge in the cup, and then you're good to zap it in the microwave for one minute. Once you remove the cup- cool, the soapy water will have transformed into liquid makeup residue, leaving your sponge just like new!. Finally, ring out the sponge and then it is as good as new!

Good for the price

In need of a new blender on a budget, then this is an acceptable one for use. Purchased at Mecca cosmetica this came packaged in plastic bag wrapping and a cardboard backing with directions and name branding. For packing it's simple and nothing show stopping. The blender is quite dense and I did question how that would work the assistant highly recommended it and said she's use it over other brands, (I can't remember which brands she referred to.) I'm a avid user of the original bb and on occasions the real techniques sponge so was curious to see how this would compare. This takes alot if water before it is saturated and ply able. Even then its quite dense and not so bouncy. Upon getting product on for use I saw immediately how much absorbed into the sponge but didn't want that to hinder my opinion of the product and used in on my usual foundation and concealing routine. It did apply and blend product to a point. However my coverage was less and not as full as I liked it and when I went in again to create a full coverage more product seemed to stay on the sponge then on my face. In all this works but I believe that my expectations are high from using an original bb as my usual routine. There are better alternatives. I find that this is too dense and it doesn't become soft or bouncy. If you are in need of a cheaper alternative then pick this especially if you're not after a full coverage. The shape isn't a traditional teardrop and that isn't an issue really but I find the texture causes the issue for use.

Great for the price!

I use this sponge most days to apply my foundation and it is great for the price! It makes my foundation look so smooth and flawless, and gives it a more natural look, which I love!

I like how it has two different ends as it makes it easier to apply things in small areas with the smaller tip, and then the bigger end aids in easy and quick application of foundation to most of my face.

I haven't used any other blending sponges, so I can't compare, but I have loved how it makes my makeup look so I have just kept on re-purchasing this sponge. I had no need to look for alternatives as it works so well! It does the job well and doesn't break the bank, and because it's so affordable I'm able to replace it often which makes me feel good as I'm a bit of a germ-a-phobe!

Stila sponge

I'm very much a user of brushes to apply my makeup and had been wanting to try a sponge like a beauty blender for a long while. So, it was time to invest in one!

When in Mecca, shopping for makeup the assistant recommended this sponge - so, I couldn't wait to try it out.

Firstly, it was packaged in plastic and already liking Stila as a brand (due to the amazing foundation that is now my holy grail) I thought this would be a good starting point, and also it was reasonably priced at about $20.

The sponge has a nice texture and felt comfortable against my sensitive skin. The technique I used was dotting the foundation over my face and using the sponge to blend/ buff it in.

It's great how it's double ended, the rounded tip I use for most of my face, and the pointed tip I use it to buff in smaller areas, like around my nose.

Overall, I really like this sponge - it gives s nice flawless finish and it's good quality for the price.

stila blending sponge

no way as good as the original beauty blender. This Stila blender is hard to wash and doesn't last long until the sponge starts to disintegrate. the bottom part of the blender is the most useful for full face blending but the tipped end is shaped too large to really be able to blend in the far corners of eyes. only positive is that the shape is good for being able to hold while blending as it fits hand shape.
