I purchased 'Rose gold' from an online makeup website having a closing down sale. I've been telling myself I need to add more blush and bronzers to my makeup collection. When I saw this shade, I knew it was the perfect one.
The colour is a light peach pink colour with a shimmer of gold imbedded through out.
It's a silky texture and glides on the skin smoothly. It doesn't have much shine which is perfect for a blush. Adds a nice pink tone too my cheeks without it looking cakey. This shade can be as light as you need it to be or as bright as you want it to be, great colour build up when you apply more.
Packaging is a simple little black compact with the product inside aswell as a handy lid mirror, perfect for traveling! The words Sleek Makeup on the top of the lid.
I definitely recommend this blush and I would happily add more to my collection.
Rose Gold is a stunning blend of peach, pink and gold enveloped in a gorgeous sheen. I bought it for $NZD12.00 either from Beauty Bliss or Makeup NZ (at the time they were both selling Sleek Makeup).
The packaging is reminiscent of NARS packaging where it's black, sleek and compact. It has a sturdy close which sometimes causes me grief when trying to open it because I end up catching my nail on the actual product (sigh).
I love this shade, it's so beautiful when the light hits your cheeks. It’s a good dupe for NARS Orgasm but I would say that Rose Gold appears to have more golden highlights whereas NARS comes off with more pink highlights.
The blush has a silky smooth texture and goes on the skin beautifully where it doesn't emphasise my pores. You really don't need a lot so just be mindful because even though it's not hard to sheer out, it's always easier to add more than remove. I would absolutely recommend these blushes.
I have three blushes from sleek. I found them affordable and good value for money. They are a very good quality and very pigmented. They come in black sleek compacts with mirrors in the inside.
I have got rose gold which is peachy shade with gold in it. It gives me a subtle glow but because I have tan complexion I can go a bit heavy for that extra pop. I love layering it on top of other darker blushes as it shows up more as well.
I also have two blush by 3s in pink sprint and flame which are in pinky plum tones and reddish orange tone respectively. Pink sprint is matte and flame has got one matte and two shimmers in it. Needless to say that because of the pigmentation, its going to last me ages. And once you apply it, it doesn't budge.
I was introduced to sleek four years ago and have quite a few of their products. The best thing is that they have free shipping if you spend a particular amount. When it arrives the packaging is so beautiful that you will hesitate to open it. So there is no danger in the product being damaged through transit.
Tips: A little goes a long way!
Sleek make up can be found in most New Zealand online stores. I never really knew about sleek until becoming friends with a couple of ladies online here. For an affordable brand it has a great quality. I was given this blush by Koni , I wouldn't normally buy single blushes on their own, but I believe now I am so converted to doing this now.
This Blush that I have is called Sunrise. This blush comes in a sleek black rectangular casing. It fits right in the palm of my hand quite compact sized. On the front of it is sleek branding in black on black. I open this up to find a mirror on the back of the lid and the blush is on the inside. This colour looks like rose gold rusty brownish peach. It has a peachy brown matte base with a reflect of rose gold. Looks quite pretty. This formula is very pigmented. There was no brush provided with this blush but that didn't bother me though because I don't use them.
On application I notice that you only need a tiny swipe with this blush as it is highly pigmented. On me looks like my cheeks are blushing brightly. Lasted me up 6-7 hours before it started to fade away. I thought that was pretty good.
Overall , this blush is bright in colour and lasted longer than my Milani dare I say. This blush is compact enough to fit into any sized bag, I think it's worth it's amount for $15 dollars. I have recommended this one to a friend already. An A+ product for me. Would love to see what other colour blushes they have in their range.
Out of all the blushes that I own, this is the one I use most frequently. I own the shade rose gold and it looks really pretty on my pale skin. It's a pinky-red colour with gold shimmer in it. The shimmer means that it also sort of acts as a highlighter and leaves your skin glowing.
You only need to use a very small amount of product as it's super pigmented. I usually find that one small sweep of the product onto my brush is enough. However I think this does depend on your skin colour. My friend has tanned skin and finds that she needs to use a lot more of this product for it to show up.
I find that it lasts all day and night without fading. The packaging doesn't feel cheap at all and I can happily put it into my purse without fear of it breaking.
I will definitely repurchase this blush if it ever runs out as it's my absolute favourite.
I have a few different sleek products and have really enjoyed most of them so I thought I would give one of their blushes a try.
I bought this in Pixie Pink which looks like quite a bright barbie type pink.
I love sleeks "sleek" packaging. This blush comes in a slim black case with a mirror on the inside. The colour in the case certainly does look super bright just like what you would imagine Barbie would wear :).
I applied this with a blush / contour brush to the tops of my cheeks, its a lovely smooth velvety powder. The powder is easily picked up by the brush but is nicely compacted so you dont end up with powder residue everywhere but your face.
It has good pigmentation but nowhere near as pigmented as I first thought which I think in this instance for this colour it's is a blessing. I think this colour would be too much for my skin tone if it was super pigmented.
This was a really nice cool bright but sheer kind of pink on my skin. Was very easy to apply and blend out.
It lasted really well most of the day on my skin.
All in all I was really happy with this blush and would like to try this in a few other shades.
I first heard about this reading about it on someones blog and fell inlove with how it looked! I HAD to get it.
The packaging is very 'sleek' and not cheap at all! It's very sturdy and I can feel confident taking this blush away somewhere and not worry that it's going to break. It is your classic black matte packaging. When I first got this I found it hard to open but now it's really easy.
The colour is just beautiful but not as pigmented as I thought from reading all the other reviews, but it still is pretty pigmented, I just don't find you have to have a light hand when applying this all all like other people have said. I actually need to go in with it a couple of times to get the look I like (I like to actually see the rose gold flecks) It gives a beautiful glow or you can keep on adding more to give an amazing sparkle for nights out or just to look and feel glam. This blush lasts the entire day on your skin so you don't need to worry about touching up throughout the day.
This is hands down my favourite blush shade and favourite blush altogether! It's the perfect blush to go from day-to-night. This is meant to be a dupe for NARS Orgasm but I don't have NARS so can't comment. I wear this everyday and will definitely be repurchasing when it has finished. I feel like this blush is going to last for ages too.
I heard about this product as a dupe, before I heard about it for any other reason. I was on the hunt for the Nars orgasm blush, without having to fork out the money for the actual blush. Don’t tell me I’m the only one who does this? Anyway on my hunt, this brand came up a lot. That accompanied by the fact that one of my favourite vloggers mentioned them as well so I convinced my friends and I to do a haul for the Sleek site and buy some goodies.
Funny enough, even though my intention was to buy the rose gold blush, I actually ended up buying sunrise (a beautiful bronze blush) and pomegranate (a plum toned blush). Don’t ask me where the sudden switch came from, because it just happened.
The packaging, believe it or not is sleek. ( I had to do that pun). It comes in a compact matte black plastic case, with the words sleek written in glossy print. The inside of this little case has a mirror and the product.
An aspect I really like about this range is that it was designed for ladies like myself (in regards to skin tone, if not those who have a darker skin tones than myself), which means they are pigmented, as well as coming in colours that suit darker skin tones, because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve brought a blush because someone recommended it only to find I can’t even see it on my skin. I know.. first world problems.
When I say this product is pigmented, I mean pigmented. I have never used a blush that is so intense in colour, which means a little (and I mean a little) of this goes a long way so that’s another benefit. This product applies nicely to my skin, and applies great colour, as well as a slight sheen which may be the satin finish. I don’t know if this is only applicable to certain shades because my pomegranate one does this, but my sunrise one doesn’t.
For $7 USD a blush, these are unbelievably good value for money. Like seriously, wow. I think these will be a valuable addition to everyone’s blush collection, and they are so affordable, you really have nothing to lose.
I have a collection on these blushes and love their shimmer blushes. The shimmer blushes are buildable and have a nice amount of pigment, however the matte blushes are too pigmented so you can only use a tiny amount and then blend which does mean it will last longer and you get more value for the already very affordable price.
