I picked this up in the last beauty vault. I had never seen it before so was keen to try. I received the shade Hibiscus, a lovely pinky shade.
The packaging is luxe. It's a black, sleek bullet style container with a lid that pulls off, you then twist up to use. Nice and hygienic.
It is pricey for a lipbalm but it's so much more than that. The formula is beautiful. It's lightweight and is what I would consider buildable pigment with colourpay off in my opinion similar to a lipstick (might depend on what shade you choose as they are suppose to be semi sheer). It applies like a dream, it feels like a melting or buttery sensation.
The lipbalm is incredibly moisturizing and glossy on. I have very dry lips and have used colour lipbalms in the past that increase the dryness once wore off however after wearing this daily for the past two weeks I can definitely say that it really helps to keep my lips soft, smooth and hydrated. I love that it makes my lips pop with a burst of colour but it doesn't enhance the fine lines I have around the corners of my lips. I typically find the lip balm last a good few hours on.
I highly recommend this colourgel lipbalm. I can't wait until I can afford to buy another shade.
