by BR Kellie

Navigating the many skincare products on the market can be tough enough - but having sensitive skin adds another layer of peril when finding the perfect regime. Thankfully, here at Beauty Review, we've amazing members who've tried and tested loads of skincare designed for sensitive skin, then given us their honest thoughts, making it easy for others to put together a skincare routine that will treat their skin with the tender loving care it deserves. So what products can be trusted on sensitive skin? Check out these Top Rated beauties...

Cleanser

Garnier Micellar Water - rated 4.4/5

You say: This is my all time favourite micellar water for removing makeup, even the toughest of mascaras. I have sensitive and acne prone skin and this has NEVER caused me any adverse effects! Simple product, does the job well and such a reasonable price. BR Member - sopholive

Toner

Evolu Facial Toner - rated 4.5/5

You say: The scent is pleasant and floral. My skin type can be dry and reactive. Sensitive to some products, but has been absolutely fine using this. My skin feels so healthy, moisturized and refreshed using this. It feels nice on my skin and is light and sinks in quickly. It’s a lovely product that hasn’t disappointed. BR Member - Kellyleanne

Serum

Trilogy Very Gentle Calming Serum - rated 4.8/5

You say: This serum is very good for anyone with sensitive skin like myself. I have the occasional flare ups on my face of dry itchy redness, and have found this serum to be very soothing and moisturizing. Doesn't irritate my skin and sinks in very quickly. BR Member - MrsO

Moisturiser

Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream - rated 4.7/5

You say: I have skin that can be on the sensitive side - and when my skin is having a I-used-something-it-doesn't-like sensitive meltdown, this is my absolute favourite go-to moisturiser. It's lightweight but super hydrating, not greasy, and absorbs really quickly. There's no discernable scent to it, so it's great for sensitive skin or those trying to avoid fragrances in their skincare. BR Member - antoniaclare

Mask

Trilogy Very Gentle Hydra-Mask - rated 4.6/5

You say: I used the mask as a treat once a week and my skin felt really good afterwards. I had no breakouts or issues using this product on my sensitive skin. I would buy this again. BR member - colcampbell

Exfoliator

Dr LeWinns Facial Polishing Gel - rated 4.6/5

You say: I found this product very gentle and light on sensitive skin which was good as that is something that is not always that easy to find and to trust in. The exfoliation was not heavy on the skin and yet it was very refreshing and invigorating and that was good as I knew that it would work very well to cleanse and refresh the skin without stressing it out to much. BR Member - Tigs

Eye Serum

Lancôme Génefique Advanced Youth Activating Concentrate - 4.6/5

You say: I have sensitive eyes and the Lancome Genifique Advanced Genifique Light Pearl has not caused myself any irritation in the way of dryness or itching... I have been using Lancome Genifique Advanced Genifique Light Pearl twice a day for just over 2 weeks and have already noticed some small differences. My eye area appears firm and brighter - I don't look as tired and my eye area is definitely well hydrated. BR Member - Whittakers-lover

Sunscreen

La Roche-Posay® Anthelios XL Ultra Light SPF50+ - rated 4.6/5

You say: I love this, I have sensitive skin so am careful when changing products, but I wanted something better that wouldn't clog my pores. I tried this on recommendation and am now on my 3rd tube. BR Member - Tarynr

There you have it! Skincare those with sensitive skin swear by! (As always - be sure to patch test first!)

These look so inviting

I’m combo but also sensitive, most of the products I buy and use are suited for sensitive skin as I tend to flush easily. My skin actually looks best when I don’t cleanse or use any products at all. Love La Roche Posay products, as well Avene, Cerave and Cetaphil, the Kiehls cream sounds nice I’ll have to try that.

I do suffer with sensitive skin which has become worse as I have gone through menopause so I tend to use products that have very few ingredients such as the CeraVe cleanser which works brilliantly on my skin.Very tempted to try DR Lewinns products because I have heard great things about the brand and also La Roche Posay, especially the sunscreen.

Have used three of these products two Trilogy and one Lancomb , they definitely are very good for sensitive skin areas

Trilogy products are great for sensitive skin. I'm also finding L'Oreal Revitalift products & The Ordinary great too. Natio is a great brand for sensitive skin types, I'm enjoying their hydrating toner. I also use their eye shadow palettes I prefer them to my MAC palette I've only used the Evolu shower Gel.

I really rate CeraVe lotion and the cleansing lotion. Simple, effective and great price.
