The safest and quickest way would be to get your doctor to freeze it off with liquid nitrogen. It would also be a good idea to get your doctor to confirm what it is before you try to treat it yourself.

You are probably right although I read that with warts freezing often doesn't work so I have been putting it off. Chemist products say don't use on your face so I have been trying home remedies with no success.

I've had a seborrhoeic keratosis on my face frozen off by the doctor and it worked really well. Some might take more than one session. Definitely do not use wart remover from the chemist on your face! I used them to get rid of warts on my hands as a kid and they're very strong and you have to be careful not to get the liquid on surrounding skin.

I've had a seborrhoeic keratosis burned off my face as well, but only one and haven't had another one.  Warts are a virus so I'd go for alternative virus destroying supplements like garlic.

I would just to the Dr, it's safe and quick so no mucking around.

You are probably right Lisa-Lou and I will probably end up doing that but I will give the garlic a couple of weeks first.

I have finally made an appointment for the Dr as quick fixes don't seem to be helping so hopefully this will be the end of the problem. Thanks for all the help and good advice.
