OPI Infinite Shine Reviews

This stuff is amazing! 3 steps, no harder than painting your nails with regular polish, and it lasts for AGES! I can get about 2 weeks from one application which is amazing considering how hard I am on my hands.

There is a huge range of colours as well as different base coats for your needs, I just use the standard ones. Super glossy finish, that looks like gel but comes off with nail polish remover. I never use anything else now, and if for some reason I do, I regret it straight away. Amazing stuff

OPI nail polishes are always my go-to for good quality nail polish as if I had my nails done at the salon. However, my only negative comment about their nail polish is they don't last very long as gel nail polish would.

But the colours and the quality you get are amazing, even nail salons use them and sell them which is where I mostly buy mine. I always recommend using them and buying them. They are also at a great price point always affordable, and perfect as gifts too!

I have a beautiful darkish brown I always recommend everyone try which is "San Tan-Tonio" I'm so glad I own this colour it's perfect for everyday wear and it is beautiful on the nails & toes too

As I sit here waiting for my nails to dry I thought I’d write a review, I go on BR and this popped up. Definitely meant to be. I’m not a fan of the usual gel nails done at a salon as they have left my nails brittle and prone to peeling. I do love the longevity and shine they give though. This brand is definitely my go to as they always have such a gorgeous shade range. I was impressed with the price as it’s only a couple of dollars more than their standard polishes. I’ve now got about half a dozen of the Infinite Shine polishes and used with the special top coat it really does last at least twice as long as a standard polish. I work with kids so I’m washing my hands constantly which of course doesn’t help my nails as far as chipping goes. I generally find I get about 3 days with a standard OPI polish with the Infinite Shine and top coat I’ve had an entire week of perfect nails. I’ve tried many brands that claim to act like gel nails but this is literally the only one that has worked for me. I will definitely continue buying these polishes and the top coat and they often have “buy two get one free” deals at Farmers. You do absolutely need the top coat as that’s what gives it the shine and prevents chipping. I would also recommend a base coat to avoid staining and to give your nails a smooth surface. You can use any brand of base coat and you’ll get the same results.

I tried Infinite Shine because I am fed up of painting my nails over an hour before bed and still waling up with sheet marks on my nails. The Infinite Shine polish dries pretty darn quick. I lightly knocked a nail after painting and suprisingly, it didn't dent! I found the polish pretty thick though and i think the brushed could be nicer, especially for the top coat. I put the top coat on fairly thick and got some brush stroke marks but it isn't super noticeable.

Overall, i am happy with OPI Infinite Shine. It dried fast to a glossy finish, opaque in two coats and smudge proof (within reason)

I am trying really hard to keep my nails nice, but I pick quite a lot and am quite rough with my nails. I decided to try this product and was really impressed. They are pretty close to gel looking nails. Definitely don't last the same but obviously a lot easy than going somewhere to get them done so pretty easy to redo. I really like the 3 step system with the base coat, then 2 layers of colour, then the top coat. They look super shiny and pretty flash! Great for toes too! I'm definitely keen to try some new colours.
