ModelCo BB Plus Cream Review

I got this in a Lust Have It Box and have been using it nearly everyday since. I still have heaps left in the tube even with wearing it to work over about the last 5 months. It has a slight sunblock smell but I quite like it. I have tried quite a few BB creams and this one is one of the best. It give nice natural coverage and feels light weight. I have been using the light to medium colour and I have a medium skin tone and it works really well. I usually apply a layer all over leave it for a minute or two and then add another layer. I find this gives a better nice natural glow than if I applied one generous layer. It has been great at keeping my skin well moisturised. I will be purchasing this again when I run out.

Received this gem in my LHI March Beauty Box. Though I am not a regular using of face creams, tinted moisturiser or foundation I was very pleased to try (and still be using) this product. A multifunctional cream that protects, moisturise tint and hydrates and most importantly (for me) is lightweight. It does not look caked on when applied and leaves a seamless glow.

I was lucky enough to receive this from a friend in a wee package! But I do believe you can pick this up from Farmers. I was so excited to see this as I don't have any BB or tinted moisturiser products, and I wanted something for days when I don't want to wear full on makeup. This one also has a SPF30 in it which is great for someone as pale as me! I have the shade light. I must mention though I hate the use of 'BB' on every tinted moisturiser lately! BB came out through the korean skincare products and now we use it on everything. I'm not more likely to use this just because it says BB, call it a tinted moisturiser and I'll still get it! *rant over*

The packaging of this is very simple, but effective. Just a plastic tube that you can squeeze the product out of very easily. It has a flippy cap and a small hole to squeeze the product out. I love that this is nice and small so easy to travel with as well.

They advise to apply liberally to the face, and that you can add a second layer for more coverage. I find this smells like sunscreen, not a bad thing, just something I notice. One coat of this skin looks nice on my skin, just a touch of coverage and smoothes out my skintone. To me the first time I used this I thought, it isn't doing anything. But I think the effect is just very subtle as you would expect from a BB, I am just not used to it due to using a more coverage product all the time. I love that it has a matte finish. I also like to use this under a well pigmented powder as it means you can just cover the parts that need to be covered letting your skin show through a bit more. A second layer of this sits on top really nicely and just gives a nice bit of extra coverage, although not heaps more. The wear time is pretty good, probably because it has a matte finish. Although I can't really talk about it on its own as I always use powder. But that makes it last all day.

I'm very impressed with this and will definitely use it up for holidays and no makeup makeup days. I would also really recommend this to a friend getting started with makeup. I wish I wasn't so used to heavy coverage products as then I feel like this would be enough for me! But just because it looks less coverage I can't get used to how my skin looks without so much coverage.
