Invites get sent out and they only send a certain amount. First people to accept get on the trial :-) If you are on one you will receive the confirmation email after you have accepted. There are a huge amount of people on here and only limited numbers for trials so they are not guaranteed. But keep trying! It's just an added perk of Beauty Review.
Hiya, I suffer from breakouts too. You definitely don't want anything too harsh. I love the Garnier 3 in 1 clay mask, it has a fine grit and it really helps problem skin. I'm currently trialing the Garnier charcoal serum and it's fantastic for spotty skin! La Roche Posay does a great kit for problem skin also. I'd stay away from anything with fragrance and always follow up with a good moisturiser as often this type of skincare can be drying. I'm currently using a Swisse one for breakouts and it's nice.
I've used a few whitening products over the years but last week I purchased the White Glo kit and after only a few uses my teeth look amazing! I had yellowing from drinking coffee and now they are a beautiful white! I also have sensitive teeth and I've had no issues with this at all. It is super easy to use and cheap. I know results vary from person to person but I highly recommend this.
Heya. I've also got dry, sensitive skin and it's definitely hard finding something that suits. I recommend trying LA Roche Posay Anthelios ultra light sunscreen spf 50. You might be able to go into a pharmacy and get a small sample to take away and try before you purchase. Then you can see if it suits your skin.
Hi ladies I hope you are all well! For the past few years I have been getting migraines and also feel dizzy. It used to come and go but after having my baby it's relentless. I've been to the dr and all tests come back normal. Wondering if anyone also suffers from this and what do you find helps at all? I take migradol, b12, iron and vit c, I get massages, had my eyes checked and my last resort I've started seeing a chiropractor. I'm definitely looking for more natural remedies as I'm still breastfeeding. Any help much appreciated!
Hiya here's a few things I do. A coconut oil mask, slather it all over your hair and let it sit for as long as possible.... overnight is even better I just pop something on my head so it doesn't get all over the pillow. Any of the Garnier hair food range is great. Giovanni does an awesome hair mask....I use the one in the green bottle but they have a good range....Farmers often has it on sale :-)

Have the bodywash in the same scent, had to get the accompanying body scrub. Same wonderful scent and the scrubby bits are the ideal size for getting a nice polish. Hydrating formula to moisturise and leave skin soft afterwards. This is pretty good compared to my usual brand and would place as my second fav. Wouldn't hesitate to repurchase when next needed.
I'm a regular user of eye patches, as I don't sleep very well and find that they help me look more alive the morning after, so I was grateful to be chosen for this trial. Thank you Beauty Review!
My initial thoughts on the patches is that it would be handy if they were somehow separated. I popped what I thought was one on, then fished around for the second and couldn't find it in the pouch, then realised I had two patches on top of each other on the one eye. Not a big deal, but it was a touch head-scratching at the time.
Once on, the patches sat in place and didn't slip and slide, which was great considering they are soaked in serum. They definitely felt cooling, but I feel I'd need to test them in summer to really see if they make a difference in that area.
After fifteen minutes I took them off and was pleasantly surprised to find they felt quite dry - so much serum had soaked into my under eye area, which looked very hydrated and far less tired.
Overall I like these patches and would definitely consider repurchasing.
I had such high hopes for this but it really was not for me.
I’ll start with what was good about it: upon removal and for a couple hours after skin looks super glowy, hydrated and awake. When I initially opened the packet it smelled so nice but once it’s on your face it’s almost hard to breathe I’m guessing that’s from the menthol - not a particularly nice scent to have all over your face. The scent was making my eyes burn and water, the eye holes were not big enough so sat super close to your eyes which did not help with the eye watering problem.
There was so much serum on the mask it made it quite hard to unpack and get on the face and stay in place more messy and difficult than your standard face mask.
The whole mask experience was really quite unpleasant for me it was uncomfortable on my face, yes I do agree it is very cooling but for me it was to the point that it felt like I had put deep heat/arnica on my face and I actually didn’t make it the 15 minutes recommended it was uncomfortable and for me I use a mask generally for some self care etc and it was not a relaxing nice experience. It was especially uncomfortable around the eyes and lips, it is cold but uncomfortably so. After removal you’re left with a heap of serum even after massaging into face and neck. Personally it’s not for me and I will stick with a normal hydrating face mask however the results are quite good for a couple hours if you make it 10-15 minutes.
Tips: If you are going to use this maybe cut the eye holes so they are not sitting right on the edge of your eye. Make sure you have tissues as there is a heap of serum and it’s quite messy.
My hair is an awkward in between of wavy, but not wavy enough to look cute, so I either style it by straightening it or curling it myself. I have fine hair, but there is a lot of it, so I needed a straightener that made styling less of a process. This straightener did exactly that. For starters, the straightener itself honestly feels very luxury. It’s solid, a beautiful matte black, and you can tell from the feel alone that it’s great quality. The base station works great to refill the straightener, simply push the straightener into place and it fills automatically. I like that you have the option to use either steam or not, so you can take the straightener with you and not have to worry about carrying around the base as well. You can also refill the straightener manually so you still have the option to use steam without the base. The straightener does come with a detachable little comb that intends to detangle your hair while you’re running the straightener through, but even with my fine hair I found that this would catch and not actually detangle, so I removed it and prefer it much more that way. It heats up super quickly and also has an auto-shut off time of 30 mins which is SO important to me as I’m as forgetful as they come.. I initially started off by sectioning my hair into small pieces and running a brush through each section before straightening, but I quickly found this wasn’t even necessary. I can brush my hair before I start, and then literally just run the straightener over my hair a few times and get a flawless result. Honestly, I was so impressed, and even more excited because I am too lazy in the mornings to section everything perfectly. I took my hair out of a braid this morning, so it was very wavy, brushed it through and spent less than 5 minutes straightening my hair and it was absolutely perfect. I didn’t find much difference in result between using steam vs no steam, both result in lovely straight hair and I didn’t have a preference. But, I imagine if you have particularly dry hair then the steam function would be a great option. Honestly, I can’t fault this straightener. It does such a fantastic job even with the most minimal effort, it’s beautiful, great quality and has adjustable heat settings. It’s everything I could want in a straightener, and it easily rivals similar popular brands in performance and quality. Obsessed!
Tips: Remove the detangling attachment for a smoother run through.
Honestly i love the vault, i get to try lovely new things i wouldn't usually buy. This is one such thing.
The bottle feels luxurious in my hand and i imagine if i put it in a sock i could do some damage, it's pretty heavy.
The serum itself is glooorious. First application and i thought i was wearing someone elses face! Sadly that notion has stopped but its still lovely.
Im not sure its pumped out my lil baby wrinkles all the way but i do think its made a difference somewhere. Its a wonderful little serum and ill be repurchasing, and i very rarely actually follow through!
This product was included in the BBBE natural brands. It was timely for me because I've had some on-going bicep muscle and elbow joint pain since starting a new job and computing a lot. I was very happy to try this on my sore muscle. It is great that it is a spray as it is simple to use. It is not too watery so you can spray it on and not actually have to rub it in. It just soaks in by itself. the first things you notice are a) the strong smell, very menthol, which clears the nose! and B) the strong heat. Almost burn-y. But the relief is almost instant as well. I think this s a very good product and I haven't found anything else quite like it. I spray it on my arm at night and I can still feel it hours later. Aside from the fact that it works well, is the great advantage that it is a spray and comes in a hard plastic bottle rather than a gel in a tube. It won't crush or squeeze out under pressure in your sports bag and is solid and easy to transport. At $25 per bottle it is a good buy - instant relief and no waste. I don't know about you, but when I get that pain I just want it gone at any price! I highly recommend this product.
I saw this in the Beauty Vault so decided to try it out. I don't usually spend $24 on a body wash so it was a nice treat. Thanks BR!
It comes in a squeezy tube with a screw on lid.....ugh why!! It is so fiddly and I always drop the lid so a flip top would be so much better!
It is a lovely creamy consistency and smells like lemons! I have a love/hate relationship with the scent. Sometimes it reminds me of dishwashing liquid lol however I do like to use it in the morning as the scent can be quite uplifting.
It lathers up well on my poof and leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. The scent does not linger on my skin. It is a nice shower cream but I am on the fence about the scent and it doesn't do anything my $5 body wash doesn't do so its not something I would purchase again.
Skinnies is a def fave in this household. I’ve used most of the sunscreens myself and on my kids and the kids one is a winner here. Even on my sensitive allergy skin, my sons eczema and the normals in this fam.
We have the river rascal one and I love that it is an spf 50 and not just a 30! The kids used this for summer and even me to this day if I’m racing out the door as we keep it on our kitchen bench for quick application so we don’t forget.
It’s been great for not staining clothes which is amazing as so many sunscreens stain.. I don’t know if it’s the fact it’s a gel.. or maybe it’s just you don’t use a lot or that it’s easily absorbed.. not too sure but either way it doesn’t end up all over the clothes as it’s not runny.
As mentioned it’s a gel this ones a kind of light yellow gel - although I would say thicker than gel but smoother than a paste it’s hard to describe - it’s almost like a Vick’s Vapor rub consistency but in a tube. It’s handy as it doesn’t heat up in the car or bag and run or squirt out everywhere when you go to apply.
You don’t use a lot their whole idea is that you use a pea sized amount for your face and I agree with that. You can look at their Instagram for videos of coverage to see how well it covers too. But as it’s a gel it spreads quite fast and covers well so you are good to go pretty quickly no waiting around 20mins before exposure to sun etc.
It smells like coconut!!! It’s delicious I always get comments on how good I smell when wearing this and it’s only a sunscreen. The kids love the smell too and it doesn’t get in their eyes as it’s only applied where you rub it in as it’s not runny at all.
It’s been great for all the skin types in our family and is safe on 3mth olds onwards which has been amazing for the baby in the family too. They do recommend you do a test patch though which all sunscreens should do and so many don’t!! So that I love also.. I generally do a test on most things as I have been hospitalised by a sunscreen (pretty pathetic I know) but saves you a lot of pain. I’m always afraid to try and use sunscreens but have had luck with the whole skinnies range so far and we’ve tried a few.
Great size - it’s a small tube 100ml BUT it’s super concentrated as you don’t use a lot so 100ml lasted us summer and that was 2-3 kids using it often. They often have a bundle deal on their website or farmers sometimes chips in with about 15% off is probably the best I’ve seen on it so far but it’s been worth it for us.
It’s pretty perfect - easy to use, good coverage, smells great, high protection, water proof, long lasting and some super cute packaging to boot.
Tips: Always do a test patch on any sunscreen
These eye patches come in a sachet inside a little plastic pack. There is one set in each pack.
These ones weren't particularly moist when I took them out of the pack. The first one was hard to apply and didn't stay on very well. I didn't find they had excellent grip, and in fact had trouble stopping them from rolling up and falling off.
I used them as per the instructions on the pack - apply and leave for 20 minutes pretty much. I noticed my eyes felt quite nice and soothed while I was wearing them but I didn't notice anything helpful after I removed them. The product claim is that they will leave the eyes soft and illuminated. Unfortunately I didn't find that to be the case.
I have also tried the charcoal patches from the same brand and found those better than these. I wouldn't repurchase them.
my face is oily and acne prone also very sensitive ,this does not do anything to my face and hard to wash off , i feel its too strong for my sensitive skin ,it did cleans very well but my skin turns very red so im so scared of using it again .
