These are handy for my girls hair because they don't have the metal thing which hair can snag on. I have found they don't snap too easily like other hair ties and don't get overly too stretched after a while the material is nice but I'm not convinced they are better for hair than scrunchies. Not a bad product. Works out to be about $1.10 per hair tie I don't think I would be in a hurry to re buy because I do prefer scrunchies
