This is my favourite night cream so far. It evens skin tone and I wake up looking fresh. My skin looks moisturised and I’m seeing a slight difference with an age spot.

This night cream is luxurious in its simplicity. Its silky smooth to put on - almost satin like in its finish. A little goes a long way, and your skin feels great once applied - you can almost feel it picking up the slack of the day and tightening your skin as it is absorbed. The packaging is simple, no fuss yet elegant. There is a very subtle fragance - not at all overpowering. And the best part is the product is totally non greasy or oily - both to touch and once you have applied it. Would highly recommend.
I dont actually have mature skin as im under 20 but i have been using this night cream recently and i love it. It feels so hydrating when i put it on which is what i need, my skin is oily but dehydrated. I feel like my complexion is very uneven but i do believe its looking more even after using this for a while. This cream feels really high quality and using it makes me feel like i really am looking after my skin which is a good feeling.
Tips: Love it
This was my favourite product compared to the eye and day cream. It is in the same simple packaging separated by the 'Night' label. The cream itself has a beautiful scent that is not too overpowering. It looks rich and thick, in consistency, but it absorbs quickly and easily- you don't need a lot. The most prominent benefit, for me, was the hydration; something my menopausal 54 year old skin loves. I used it on my neck and decolletage and again the the hydration was obvious. I can definitely see an improvement in the plumpness and softness of my skin. As for tightening...maybe? A little? It is after all a skin cream, not a magic wand. I have not noticed any improvement in the few age spots I have, perhaps that is yet to come.
Tips: Use straight after your evening shower, my skin drank it up.
I also use the Age Perfect Day Cream which is very good. However I found the night cream to be pretty much exactly the same? Same fragrance, same consistency, same container just with "night" under the product name on the front. Don't get me wrong the product is nice to use and leaves your skin feeling hydrated, soft and fresh but it does just feel like I'm using the day cream on my skin. Perhaps I expect a little more from a night cream? Or maybe I am actually using the day cream by mistake as the containers are exactly the same colour, size, branding etc :-) ?? So far no visible results on anti sagging, pigmentation or age spots but I have only been using this product for a couple of weeks. I certainly didn't dislike this product but I am a little average on it overall.
I noticed a good improvement to my skin after just a week of using this night cream. I am continuing to notice subtle improvements as the weeks goes on.
My skin has become firmer and fine lines have reduced. I am very much enjoying this experience.
This cream is very luxurious, I like to be quite generous with the application, slathering it on before bed to wake up to hydrated smooth skin.
I will be recommending to my friends.
I very much enjoyed my trial of the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Collagen Expert Retightening Care Night Cream.
I have a few age spots and the usual fine lines and wrinkles one would expect from a woman of my age. I have moderately dry skin.
This night cream soaks into the skin with no residue or greasy aftermath. It's so rich and creamy.
The this night cream is lightly scented, not unpleasant or overbearing.
I have noticed a real reduction in the colouring of my age spots, whether this will continue I don't know, but even if the fading I've experienced so far was the max I was to get, I'd be blooming stoked!
Retightening is a bit of a scary word I think, I hate the thought of tight skin, it makes me think of that horrible over-cleansed feeling. Thankfully this doesn't regime doesn't feel anything like that! It feels good, a gentle firming sensation after use.
Having just turned 50 and with a lifetime of dry skin behind me, I was so glad to be chosen to be part of the trial team for this product. The jar is a great size, the cream is lovely and hydrating and the smell is subtle but pleasant. It definitely hydrates! I've only been using it for 2 weeks though, so can't comment on the 'retightening' claims with this cream. I do enjoy using it and have found it a welcome addition to my nightly skincare routine. I haven't seen any evidence of any re-plumping either but I'm going to continue to use it until the jar is empty and evaluate results for myself then. Judging by how little I've used so far (a little goes a long way), I'd say this jar will last me well over the month, possibly around the 6 week mark. By then the results should be obvious as the claims on the box say I should expect results after 1 month.
Regardless of that, it's a lovely rich cream that absorbs quickly and easily and hasn't caused any reaction to my sometimes-sensitive skin. It accompanies the eye cream nicely and the two do seem to complement each other.
My rating reflects the fact that I've only been using the product for 2 weeks so I don't feel comfortable rating it up or down when the box clearly says it takes at least 1 month to see any results. Perhaps BR could extend these trials until the length of time recommended to see results in future? It feels like a fairer way to assess the situation.
Tips: Warm up in the hands before applying as the cream is very thick.
Being a current user of another L'Oreal Night cream I was curious to try this product and see if I'd be making a switch. Two weeks into their month recommendation I like the modest changes I have begun to see already! It's a lightly scented (very lovely subtle scent - much nicer than many others) more firm gel-cream consistency vs a very liquid cream. It's firm in the jar so you do need to apply a bit of pressure to get some onto your fingers to get it out of the glass jar. It goes on easily and blends into the skin quickly so you're not having to try and massage it in while it is absorbed by the skin. I was quite impressed actually about how quick this was. It leaves your skin with a slight matt-to-the-touch feeling - not tight but rather, not oily like many other heavier night creams. Soft and silky. I can see a slight change in my skin tone - more even, and a slight plumpness to the surface, so think this will definately be worth continuing to use to see what results I get over time. I think this represents very good value for money and there is definately a generous volume of product in the milk-glass jar packaging - which by the way is really well designed to easily get the product out and get the lid back on while you have cream on your hands. I'll definately be recommending this product to my friends.
I picked this up in the beauty vault along with the matching day cream, thanks BR. It comes in a heavy square pot with a screw on lid, simple packaging but still nice.
It has a strong floral scent which thankfully doesn't linger on your face, I was a bit worried because I have sensitive skin but fortunately I did not get any reaction at all. Consistency wise it is very thick.
I use this at night after cleansing and toning. The day and night cream pots look identical so you need to make sure you grab the right one...personally I can't even tell a difference in the actual cream either.
I wake up with smooth, hydrated skin. It looks plump and healthy and ready to face the day. I get no breakouts at all from this, although it is thick I wouldn't say it is heavy. I have enjoyed using this and I would happily repurchase. I know it says it is aimed at 50 plus mature skin but my soon to be 40 skin loves it.
