Giovanni 2Chic Ultra Sleek Flat Iron Styling Mist Reviews

I was looking for a bit more of a cruelty free, natural and plant-based heat protectant hair spray in Farmers and the Giovanni was the closest I could find. I straighten my hair a lot, so I bought the Giovanni 2chic Ultra-Sleek Flat Iron Brazilian Keratin and Argan Oil Styling Mist. It’s contained in 118ml spray bottle and has goodies such as antioxidants and Omega 3, 6, 9. It’s also suitable for all hair types for protection against extreme heat.

It’s great that this styling mist can be used on wet and dry hair. I spray it on wet hair before I blow dry my hair and use it before I style my hair with a straightener or curler. It has a lovely coconut scent and not overpowering at all. I spray about 6-7 times spreading it evenly around my hair as it’s long. It’s non-greasy and not at all sticky as this was a problem I was having with some other heat protectant products. My hair is left with a light coconut scent with a lovely, healthy shine with no frizz in sight.

The price is reasonable since I’ve had this one bottle for over a year. I definitely will be buying it again. It’s the best hair product I’ve used. I recommend it to other who are looking to try something different.

So I've never spent much time on my hair until recently. I started straightening my hair more often a few months ago and realised I should do things 'properly' and buy a heat protection spray. It was actually Shaz's review that made me decide to give this a go (no idea why haha) Firstly, I love that it's a lot cheaper than anything the hairdresser suggested. Secondly, the bottle is very pretty and sleek, and I love that you can see how much you have left. The scent of it is very pleasant, so it's enjoyable to use. Most importantly, it works so amazingly well. My hair is left soft and shiny and smooth, with nearly no stray flyaways left to escape. I have just today used up the last drop in the bottle, and will definitely be buying another bottle this week!

I purchased this product off I herb. I think it's around $10nz so really reasonably priced. It comes in a sleek, tall and thin bottle. To me, it looks like an expensive brand. This is a spray bottle which I totally prefer over areosals.

I have very long hair so I spray a decent amount onto my hair. Not enough to make it really wet but just to cover it all.

I haven't tried a heap of different brands but I do feel like this one is superior. It helps my irons glide nicely over my hair while I'm straightening it and I'm also left with a really smooth finish without frizz and fly aways.

This also smells really good, coconutty and slightly tropical.

The only downside I can think of is that it's only a 118ml bottle so I seem to go through it quickly. I'm almost halfway through my second bottle, I'll definitely keep repurchasing this one and I'd recommend to anyone else too.

I'd been wanting to try out something from Giovanni for a while after learning that they use mostly natural ingredients derived from plants and do not test on animals. I decided upon trying this flat iron styling mist as I was about to run out of heat protectant, so far I've been really impressed! The bottle is tall and slender holding only 118mL of product which I can forgive seeing as only a few spritzes are required and I've since learnt it is available on iHerb (thanks shazatron101)

The colour of the packaging is beautiful in my opinion, the spray nozzle and cap are a deep purple-burgundy kind of colour while the bottle is a beautiful pearlescent white/silver that blends into an ombre effect with the purple-burgundy colour at the bottom.

I'm not one to often use a hair dryer preferring to let my hair air dry so I've only tried this on dry hair before straightening and that has given me beautiful results! my hair is definitely less frizzy, smoother and has more movement as opposed to feeling flat like it can often after using a flat iron.

The product scent kind of reminds me of the scent of Malibu, slightly sweet and coconutty when spraying it on but it seems to evaporate and fade as the product dries.

I'm in love with this stuff so I will continue to use it but I think next time I purchase it I will check out iHerb first.

On the back of these bottles it asks '2 Chic or not 2 Chic?". So I definitely '2 Chic'! I bought my bottle off of iHerb for less than $10 USD, and then I found it at my local Farmers with a massive markup, and I had to laugh.

The bottle matches the shampoo and conditioner in the same line, only not as much. It's a silver see through bottle, which is great because I always know how much I have left! It ombres to a silvery brown, and the lid and spray nozzle are a dark browny red purple color which is attractive to the eye.

The product inside looks silver but that's probably because of the bottle, but it is a pale white which does look nice in the bottle. When you spray it into your hair it mists quite nicely, so you only need a few pumps. I always brush it through as well, to distribute the product.

I first used this product in dry hair and then I straightened it - and I was blown away. I had NO fly aways, smooth and soft hair and my brush went through my hair like a hot knife through butter. I tried it through towel dried hair and my hairdryer as it suggests - and I got so much more volume, yet the same shiny, smooth softness. I love this stuff and I'll gladly repurchase (from iHerb)!
