This is advertised as a blush but i also use it as an eyeshadow and a highlight. I love multi purpose products and love them even more when they are at a great price! Super affordable and lots of product. The packaging is flimsy so be careful when opening and how you store it, i would keep it upright at all times and away from heavier objects that could crush the plastic lid. At first it was chalky but that wore off after a couple uses and i suspect it was just a covering film. The product lasts better on top of a base for better colour pay off and longevity. I found that without a base on the face or eyes that it would fade away into the day. Perfect for a quick brush over the eye lids, highlight or blush and easy to use.

This blush has to be wet for pigment to transfer onto the skin which I didn't mind as it is a baked blush. Although the blush has more shimmer and glitter in it than blush pigment, I wouldn't recommend if you like a matte blush. The shimmer in it left my pores looking huge and the colour was unflattering.
I love e.l.f's products. I think they are really good quality at a really good price. That is why I was excited to try their baked blush in Peachy Cheeky when I had the opportunity to buy it.
I am naturally very pale, so I have to be careful when applying blush as it is very easy for it to look overdone on me. I also suit cool tones, so cool pinks are recommended, as well as peach shades that are not too warm. E.l.f's baked blush is a light, shimmery peach colour that is not too orange. It is so shimmery that it is almost more like a highlighter that has blush in it, rather than the other way around!
This colour goes on very lightly, however, it is also easy to build up in intensity. It compliments my pale complexion very well, and looks very natural on me.
Tips: Build up the colour until you achieve the intensity that you want. The product also has a baked film on the outside, so you need to break through that before it will apply properly.
ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE BLUSH! I'm not huge on blush, as I have a pinkish undertone, and mostly wear makeup to try and cancel the redness.. but I still wear a light coverage on my cheeks for a healthy glowing look. For the ridiculously cheap price, I LOVE this colour! It has a shimmer to it, so really nicely highlights my cheek bones when wearing it. I even use the colour under my eyeshadow for a nice warm look.
I'm onto my second one now, and will definitely be repurchasing if I can find it again!
Tips: If you're wanting a more obvious blush look, you may need to build the product up a little
Given how much make-up can cost you, I like this product. It is cheap but still works with my skin. You do have to build it up a bit given it's a bit subtle. But still worth it in my books.
One of my favourite highlighting powders. It’s super fine, but because it’s not very pigmented you do have to build it up a little bit, but once built up it looks amazing and like all ELF products, it’s nice and affordable :)
A brand that can deliver affordable quality products are a favourite in my books but I felt these baked blushes were a miss. I bought them from Iherb for $3.00 each and unfortunately I ended up throwing them away because they just didn’t work for me.
It’s not a huge loss because they didn’t cost much but I expect baked blushes to be quite pigmented but alas my selections weren’t the case. I bought Rich Rose because it reminded me of one of my favourite MAC blushes (Ring of Saturn) with its rose and brown swirls. I also bought Peachy Cheeky because the online swatches reminded me of champagne rose goodness with lovely shimmer. What I received instead was pretty disappointing.
Rich Rose barely showed up on my skintone and this is not because I’m part of the chocolate club but there was very little pigmentation. I tried it on my mum who has a fair complexion and we could detect a light dusting of brown and a hint of pink and that was only after a number of swipes in the pan. I was not impressed.
Peachy Cheeky performed "better" however it applied patchy and the shimmer stood out more than the colour pay off. I felt that because the application was patchy it affected the lasting power (or lack of). I was lucky to get 2 hours of wear but I was more annoyed with the transfer of shimmer. You could perhaps use this as a blush topper because the pigmentation isn’t as great so better to layer it over a pigmented blush.
I personally wouldn’t recommend the baked blushes and instead would recommend the normal ELF blushes and highlighters if wanting that baked glow – all still very affordable and great to have in your collection when traveling.
I have been eyeing up this wee number for a while. The baked blush has quite an intriguing appearance, it is a peach-pink with brown veining and a certain luminescence. When swatched this is extremely shimmery with super fine gold particles.
When I used this the first few times I couldn't get any product on my brush. I swirled my brush in the pan quite aggressively time and time again and nada! Before I gave up I checked out the reviews on makeup alley, and it was suggested to rub the surface of the baked blush with a tissue for a little bit in order to remove the thin film on top and thereby 'release' the product. This worked quite well. This is an extremely luminous blush (ditch the highlighter when wearing this) and the fine gold particles have a somewhat pore highlighting effect. The actual pigmentation of the blush is very soft- so if that is the type of finish you like in a blush then this will be ideal for you. Being super pale however I feel like I need a little more colour in order to liven up my complexion.
This would probably be really pretty when used as a highlighter on darker skins, or as a blush topper instead of using highlighter (or as well, you do you!). Unfortunately this did not particularly work for my pale skin and large pores.
Tips: This baked blush has a bit of an overspray, so you may need to rub the surface with a clean tissue in order to remove this so that the product applies with (slightly) more pigmentation
I recently got this product a couple of months ago and I have to say, for a cheap product (iherb.com for $2 US), I am very impressed! First of all, the packaging is super cute. It looks very elegant with the marbled colour. When it comes to application, it goes on really nicely. It feels very velvety on your skin and is extremely pigmented. For a cheaper branded product, it is amazing. The only criticism I have is that it is a little too shimmery for my taste. But overall, highly recommended!
I have used this product in two different shades and found whilst the colour was nice, they were just way too shimmery for my taste. The second I looked at it in the light, it looked like I had been dusted with glitter, which, while pretty, was not what I wanted from a blush. Other than that, they tend to wear well, I would often come home from 8 hour days with the blush still visible and no need to reapply.
Tips: Use minimally:)
