Expensive!

I was given a full sized tube of Cherry Black Facial Sunscreen when I had my last skin check at The Skin Institute. This facial sunscreen lotion was developed in association with experts at the Skin Institute.

Cherry Black Facial Sunscreen Lotion is packaged in a 100ml soft plastic squeeze tube with a flip top lid, and the sunscreen inside the tube is a pretty, pale pink colour, which comes from natural pigments. It has an SPF30, and contains three natural ingredients to help restore, renew and protect the skin.

Natural Cherry Plant extract helps to support the restoration of the skin, Vitamin B helps to reduce the appearance of age spots and fine lines, while Zinc Oxide protects skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. It has no added fragrance, is non-greasy, and it absorbed quickly into my skin.

I found that I was able to wear this facial sunscreen under make-up without it causing my make-up to slip, and it didn't cause my skin to become excessively greasy during the day (I have very oily skin).

Overall, this was a great facial sunscreen, although at nearly $115 per 100ml tube, it is very expensive. I can't bring myself to spend that much on a tube of facial sunscreen. I know (and have used) other facial sunscreens on the market with an SPF30 or more, that are nearly a third of the price, and yet work just as well.

Tips: Apply this after cleansing and moisturising, then wait a few minutes for it to be absorbed completely before applying make-up over the top.
