Bobbi Brown Perfectly Defined Long-Wear Brow Pencil Review

I love this product! The spooly at the end is handy all in one tool, the shape of the pencil means I can use the wider shape on the wider part of my brows and still get a nice defined shape through to the end. The formula doesn’t smudge and I don’t need to use much to get a good effect. My only negative is that it is a very matte effect.

This compact product has enclosed caps at both ends with a spoolie at one end and the slanted brow pencil at the other end which is retractable. I like the fact you can retract it, as well as enclose it in the cap so it protects it well. The brow pencil has a waxy texture but is easy to apply. I used the pointed end to shape and outline my brows and then used the slanted end by doing light feather strokes and to fill gaps. This doesn’t take too much effort as I like my brows to look natural. I then finished off by using the spoolie to blend the colour. The real test for me though is whether it really is sweat resistant because I am a regular gym goer and have yet to find a good brow pencil product that will last the distance in this area. While I found it lasted the day really well, I didn’t feel it was completely sweat resistant, but if you patyour face instead of wiping it...it was quite good, better than any other brow pencil I have used so far, in this regard. I did find it lasted well in the rain and it was pretty good in humid weather, though I did avoid actually wiping my brows (past experience from using other brow pencil products) and patted around my face instead of full on wiping....found this worked best and didn’t soil my towel like other brow pencil products. Pricewise this is very expensive, is it worth it? I’m not sure...it does last longer than other pencil products I have used so far though but it is an expensive product. I’m not sure yet if I would buy again, I’ll wait and see how long it takes me to finish this product first.
